Findivo hasn't died... quite the contrary, actually. I've been working hard on the software that I will use to run this place.
Originally, I was going to writ this all up as a custom app (what you see here), then I moved into the frame of mind to use a Content Management System - CMS - to handle everything, and add on my components as custom modules. To that end I tried several systems, but I've not been impressed by any of them. It seems that in order to accomplish the ease-of-use navigation and presentation I have in mind, I'd have to do a LOT more coding than I thought.
Out of this was born "WTFCMS" - I created a family-friendly blog web site:
http://www.wtflolomgbbq.com and I've been adding content pretty much everyday, even as I write my own CMS software. Once I get the basic functionality down (Blogging engine, commenting, forums, private messaging, and image management), and finalize how I plan on doing customization, I am going to set up that software here and start getting this site ready for a full launch.

Some readers were surprised to see crews installing concrete construction barriers last week next to the fast lanes on the Capital City Freeway over the American River.
Time out here, said one reader, Doug Vanderkar.
Aren't we just 18 days away from the epic closure of Interstate 5 in downtown Sacramento for major repairs – a project Caltrans officials acknowledge may cause areawide freeway snarls, including on the already congested Capital City Freeway?
"Why pinch down Bus(iness)-80 now?" Vanderkar asks. "Why make a horrible situation worse?"
Caltrans officials say they really don't want to do this project at the same time as I-5 closures, but they had signed the contracts and set the schedule before they knew what their I-5 program would be.
The work, replacing the median barrier, will involve closing the fast lanes in each direction at times, but it will be done nights, not during commute or daytime.
'Ghost' to test Wilder nightclub

There's no wilder tale in Wilder than poltergeists at Bobby Mackey's nightclub.
The latest to check it out will be a crew from the Travel Channel's new "Ghost Adventures" series premiering in October.
Paranormal investigator Zak Bragans and two videographers with nightvision cameras and digital records will be locked down Friday from dusk till dawn at the honky tonk club, 44 Licking Pike, in Campbell County.
Magic Mountain’s X2 gets flamethrowers + other effects

X2 at Six Flags Magic MountainX2 riders lying flat on their backs will swoop under a pair of flamethrowers when the refurbished 360-degree rotating roller coaster reopens at Six Flags Magic Mountain on May 24, 2008.
Screamscape posted photos of after-hours fire-effects tests conducted in March with the old pink-and-yellow X cars.
For the fireball effects, which shoot from both sides of the track along one of the main drops, Magic Mountain will employ the same pyrotechnics experts used by Universal Studios Hollywood for the Backdraft attraction.
Truckers React to Turnpike Plans

A leading trucker organization in the state is speaking out against leasing the Pennsylvania Turnpike. They say the deal isn't in the best interest of Pennsylvanians and area trucking companies agree.
Officials with Ward Trucking in Altoona don't like either of the big plans to fund transportation in the commonwealth.
William Ward Sr. says leasing the turnpike and increasing tolls and putting new tolls on Interstate 80 is going to drive their costs up again, and they'll have to pass those costs on to consumers.
